It's currently the holy season of Lent, which is a time of preparation for the joyous celebration of Easter. During this season, we focus on strengthening our relationship with Christ by examining parts of our lives that do not align with his teachings. The Witness at the Cross series encourages us to reflect on Jesus' life and death from the perspectives of some who saw his crucifixion. What emotions do Jesus' suffering and death evoke in us? What do we bear witness to? By putting ourselves in the shoes of some people with Him as He suffered and died, we can find our answers to those questions. Today, we will explore the thoughts of some people who saw Jesus dying and mocked Him. We think we would never do that, but we'll discover how easy it is to join that crowd. More importantly, we'll learn to be the witnesses He needs.
